When it comes to anything from museum exhibits to women's clothing stores, throw in just the teeniest suggestion of the good ol' biological recreational procreational process, and watch it sell.
Mad Men's Don Draper would be proud.
Well, no, actually he wouldn't. There was an episode where he panned that alleged aphorism, and it's probably true that whatever value it once had as a visual enticement has been diminished through overuse. That having been said these two examples are nothing more than suggestive, and quite clever in their way.
(OK, maybe not the "Girl on Top" one, that's really a bit disconnected from the "buy our clothes" message. But the Museum one is clever.)
However I'll lay you odds that once the caption text is properly indexed by the search engines, unworthy though it may be this photo will record the highest number of hits (and simultaneous disappointments) of any in my galleries.
