Yesterday I stopped to look at a group of horses in their pasture and maybe take a few pictures. I had met the Amish family who owned the critters, a few days before and had their permission to take photos. The pasture was really muddy from recent rains and snowmelt as you can see. I got out of my car walked over to the pasture fence, camera in hand. Most of the other horses were curious and looked in my direction for a few moments, but this one particular horse walked towards me, stopped looked right at me, and then stuck out his tongue. He stuck his tongue out at me! Does he have an attitude problem? I didn’t know horses could be so demonstrative? I left soon afterwards. I know when I’m not wanted. My feelings hurt, ego bruised so it was on to photograph scenic vistas that don’t make rude gestures at you. Geesh!
