Fondation Maeght

“Fontaine” by the Belgian artist Pol Bury. Created in 1978, this is composed of pivoting
stainless steel tubes which slowly fill up with water, until they tip over and empty into
the pool below. The empty tube then returns to its original position and the cycle begins
all over again. Quite mesmerizing.
There is a similar fountain sculpture at the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
