WELCOME TO MY GALLERIES...

I have been taking photographs for many years (mostly bad ones), and have always put a selection of prints into albums for friends and family to browse through. I preferred prints because the viewer is in control - unlike slide shows where the audience is somewhat captive!

Since going digital in 1998, my images have been residing on hard disks, not readily accessible to those who might be interested, so now I'm putting a selection of these here on PBase, to share with family and friends - and anyone else who cares to take a look.

I would be delighted if anyone takes the time to browse through my images. Please click on the thumbnails below, which will take you to the galleries, and if you click on the individual images, there will sometimes be snippets of information on the subject, since I believe that life should be educational! (Also, I like to know what it is I'm looking at, so I always appreciate other galleries which include such information.)
