Chilled

Lower Falls, Glencoe, Scotland

These two rocks dappled with the lichen and hoar frosted in a bed of ice were beneath a clear blue sky as a consequence the ice has picked up these cool hues and they are wonderfully complemented by the opposing reddish hues from a sprig of heather and frozen deer grass trapped in the ice. The whole subject became ridiculously compelling and I spent ages fine tuning my ideal composition.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and the 2011 Transient Light Calendars and fine art cards are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT
