Thanks for your comments. No guess about what kind of tree it is, leaves were similar to these of poplars, but big as a little dessert dish. A deciduous tree anyway. endika

That's a nice find, well taken. I don't recognise the leaves but they look almost as if they have been burnt by a hot summer. Barry

I really love the DOF plus how wonderful to catch the leaf with it's final brown colors forming along the outside edges. I like the rich colors.

What incredibly sharp focus on the veins and leaf edge! The brown outline indeed suggests a progressive dying; soon the leaves will be entirely brown and dry, ready to drift away on a passing breeze. The light is really nice and your shallow DOF makes the subject pop.
