Cygnus Star Trails

Kenesis Lake - Haliburton ON

November brings the setting of the summer's Milky Way. The constellation Cygnus the Swan, also called the Northern Cross, is full of spectacular emission nebulae and dense star fields. The bright white line is from the giant Deneb. The surrounding red glow above it is from the North American Nebula (NGC7000) which appears to resemble N.America on a map and from the Pelican Nebula. If you look at the previous frames showing these objects you will get an idea of what is trailing thru this frame.
