19th - Still Working...

Cheltenham, Glos.

This is Finn's seven year old 512MB USB memory stick - it's been stuffed into trouser pockets and school bags, and has been through the wash countless times. It looks like it's been subjected to some sort of grisly Bunsen burner experiment too....

...but it still works, apparently. I have advised Cruden Major to maybe not rely on this particular memory stick for much longer - it looks like its ghost is about to depart permanently and perhaps imminently

Could be a great ad - but I hope he doesn't save any project work on it.

Excellent macro work Doug! Glad to see that this has been wash & wear through the years, but I think it's time to retire it and buy a new one. :)

Wow!! Already loved the photo and the great macro work, but the story puts it over the top! :-) Familiar with various things being through the wash, too ... hubby always seems to leave his SD cards in his pants pockets - and, amazingly, they continue to work.

Through the wash? Amazing. Time for a new memory stick I'd say. Very cool macro.
