Finished

A little country abattoir no longer in use, it has 'finished' its job of slaughtering animals for food - that job
is now done by large abattoir in a much larger country town.
Can you imagine the glee Dick had wanting me - a vegetarian - to take this photo - he loves his meat!

It's a shame when these small businesses go down. In this case it leads to more stress for animals who have to be transported for longer and longer distances - sorry I shouldn't get started on this!!
Your image is a good one to illustrate "finished" in so many ways.

You might get the last laugh. This field could be growing veggies one day. :)
