14th November 2009

Dad: Here's an archive shot from a walky earlier in the week - the last time we saw the sun! (or that's what it feels like)
A sad day for my old Dad - his beloved cats are being re-homed as he can no longer look after them, and were taken away today.
There are some kind people out there willing to offer his cats a cosy new home, and thus offering consolation and
peace of mind to one very sorrowful old dad...
We would have taken the cats in ourselves - but we were fairly sure that Pooch would have objections!

Oh dear, it must have been very sad for dad. He certainly has had a hard year. I'm so happy that you found a good home for the cats.

Pleased to here they got a good home. I'm sure Pooch would have loved a little play with them, not sure the cats would have love it.

This is a magnificent setting for you Pooch! Very sorry to hear about the cats though... he will miss their company!

Sorry to hear of your dad and his cats.
Beautiful shot of those thinning trees.

I feel really sorry for your dad. But it´s good to know the cats got a new home.

But you never know, Pooch and cats might have worked. Cats outdoors and cats at home are a quite different thing. Ask Bonnie! She chases cats all she can outdoors. At home she sleeps with the trio. Gives them some exercise now and then but just for fun. Not the cats fun I guess...

A real shame, let's hope the cat's settle in thier new homes.
Hopefully your dad will get some consolation, knowing they will be loved.

I know how your Dad must have sorrow in his heart to give up his cats and I am so happy he knows they have good homes.
