Funguy 1

I thought it was an Amethyst Deceiver - if so it's edible -
but I'm now wondering...is the stem is too thick -
any other ideas?

Gorgeus fungi!
Fay Stout24-Sep-2009 00:18
Here's my idea... leave it alone! At first I thought it was a concrete garden ornament.
Al Chesworth23-Sep-2009 20:18
It's some sort of mushroom I think, nice picture.
Bernard Davis23-Sep-2009 20:06
Great shot, who knows what it actually is though...
Cindi Smith23-Sep-2009 20:05
Not sure but it does look like an anatomy part....hmmmmm......did it grow when you got near? LOL!
John Lamb23-Sep-2009 20:01
What do you call a mushroom with a Ferrari and a million dollars?

A Funguy to know! ;o)

I would just take piks of it rather than eat it, its a gorgeous colour!
Walter Otto Koenig23-Sep-2009 15:48
Cool find and image. I'd stay away from it.
Linda Willets23-Sep-2009 15:36
Beautiful color, but I would pass on it
Stephanie23-Sep-2009 10:23
A feast for the eyes, but probably not for the tummy.....

I could not say & would not take a chance...you need to be fit & healthy for the holiday !!! Have a great time, best wishes to K & K...tell them we had the most incredible duststorm from Sydney to Brisbane today. A horror day !!

I'm not game either...best left to the experts.
Mieke WA Minkjan23-Sep-2009 08:06
I'm not a paddo expert, I'm always careful with mushrooms in the wild,
is the colour really purple? If so then I wouldn't touch it
beautiful capture btw
