In the Mountain's Shadow

McCloud, CA

This was the McCloud River Lumber Company Mill. They are using the buildings today to store and dry lumber from a nearby Cedar Mill. My Bill worked here back in the mid 60's when it was still a busy place.

An amazing sight with that mount in the background, the air must be so clear there (when its not raining, sleeting etc)
