Stefan: Hmm, hadn't been bothered by the window sill and I think that's a flag bracket... until you pointed them out... now I won't be able to sleep :) Maybe if I rotate the frame a bit?
Colin: This is on the west side of the building, so in the morning it's in full shadow... nice thought tho.
Shirley: I'm sure I've seen it before, just never noticed it. I grit my teeth thinking about those steel wheels rolling around on concrete, then realize roads were dirt and sidewalks wood plank when that was in use

I like this shot, and the panels in the back are a bonus, hinting of the Union Jack and the colonial era. I wonder if you thought about cropping it tight to wheel on top, cutting out the window frame and thingy on the right. It's just a thought.

What an interesting object to leave out on the pavement (sidewalk?). Some interesting possibilities here, might be fun to go back in the morning and get the shadows spreading down to the left

Can you imagine hauling that as quickly as possible to go put out a fire! I like the rust on the sidewalk that makes it appear its been there all the while and you just didn't see it! If that is true don't feel bad. I've driven by things for years and then all the sudden notice something and wonder, how did I never see that! Great find, and just in time!
