Who Needs friends

Gloucester

I finally got the PC fixed this morning
I had some friends around to help, but to be perfectly honest they were absolutely useless
All they did was argue all the time
So I sent them into the garden to do some work, even then the arguing didn’t stop

Last week all my USB, modem and network connections failed (blew up).
Other than that the computer worked fine, except that I couldn’t get data in or out..

Anyhoo with some new PCI cards and some jiggery pokery, things are sort of working
Although there is still a faint whiff of burnt electrics hanging around :(

A big thanks to everyone who commented on my image and words yesterday, they were greatly appreciated.

I am sure that your friends supplied some moral support.....
or not....
Anyway, your computer is working. and you are back with us all.
a great idea.
And I am happy that the computer is whole and you participate with the group.

Wouldn't worry about the burning smell...if you feel a great deal of heat, make sure to point a fan at it.
This is great, really creative!

Into cloning? Nice to have a lot of hands around, but seems to be more talk than action.
