Abdim's Stork, between Shashemene and Goba

This was an unexpected find. Abdim's Storks are usually found in large flocks. They are a intra-Africa migrant moving north and south following the rains and the new grass growth. So who knows why this individual was found by the roadside on the drive up to Goba and the Bale Mountains. We later found other individual birds at five other locations.
