Storm Point

Portknockie, Moray, Scotland.

Arriving just prior to sunrise in early summer at the cliff tops overlooking the rocky point at Portknockie is not really my idea of fun especially in somewhat stormy conditions such as these. Never-the-less I dutifully waited for the sun to penetrate dense grey clouds and was disappointed that only the faintest of pink glows was present. The picture was half heartedly taken but I was rewarded with a far better long exposed shot than I thought possible.
