Jaws of Duncansby Head

Duncansby Head, Sutherland, Scotland

The dragons teeth of Duncansby Head at the very top of mainland Britain are surely the icing on a very lovely cake. A stream of sunlight under low heavy cloud gave theatrical lighting to the rock formations allowing the true colours of the rocks to stand out. I have been to this spot numerous times and this is the first occasion where the lighting satisfied my urge to record it and paint it with the drama it deserves. Hope you like it.
