Culzean Castle

Culzean Castle, Ayrshire, Scotland.

A definite tourist hotspot I had to wait ages for this scene to clear and I was desperate to make use of this amazing dappled sky. In the end I seized a thirty second lull in the traffic and I was delighted with the result. The camera was kept absolutely horizontal to prevent any distortion of the castle's vertical walls. I then cropped some foreground vegetation to present the image at it's best.
