Planet Namibia

Sossusvlei, Namibia, Africa

Shortly after sunrise is probably the best time to witness this surreal world of iron rich sand dunes and dessicated plants and trees in the Namibian deserts. For a start off it's not too hot then and there are less folk wandering around even in this famous place near Dune 45. I was captivated by the primary colours of yellow, red and blue and the gorgeous patterns etched into the sandscape by the wind.
