We had chosen to drive along the southern coast away from Cape Town taking the toll road to Chapmans Peak. We passed through the town of Scarborough which had a wonderful wild beach nearby and a sea mist which occasionally shrouded the sunlit cliffs. I climbed a dune and was confronted by a gorgeous display of wild flowers dotted through them. I waited for the best sky possible and the clouds to lift their misty veil from the cliffs and took the shot.
