This broken window pane leaning up against the side of an old grey slatted ruined house resonated with me right from the very first moment I saw it. As I walked backwards to consider it the blue of the sky became reflected in its surface thanks in no small part to the angle that the glass panel was tilted at. This complemented the subdued almost monochromatic panels of the decrepit building perfectly and a title for my proposed image floated into my head. The shattered dreams of a once proud occupier now faded and forgotten. A meloncholly memory.
