A sweeping statement for you. This is without doubt my absolute favourite shot of my favourite beach in the UK and as of this date and time my favourite beach of anywhere I have yet visited on planet Earth. Of course you may justifiably disagree but I have travelled to a reasonable number of destinations and none make me want to return like this one does. Traigh Mhor has a super large granular orange sand beach entirely free of seaweed, a pristine clear turquoise sea that thunders in driven by westerly winds from across the Atlantic, and at every tide new works of art are carved. Combined with an explosive sunset and a mountain backdrop in both directions it is pretty hard to beat. Please don't go and visit, IT'S MINE!!
