Underneath the great sandstone cliffs that guard Cove Bay on three sides beneath a substantial overhang where the pounding sea has eroded and sculpted a sweeping hollow of ochre bedrock I found some typical beach jewellery embedded in soft patterned sand. I loved the sinuous curves and colouration and contorted myself at some quite impossible angles to capture these intimate studies on film.
