Tidal Flow

Dail Beag, Lewis, Scotland

As the tide reached it's maximum height on Dail Beag beach it started to envelop the larger embedded gneiss half submerged in the coarse grained sand. A storm appeared to be raging out in the Atlantic and the rollers that focussed their attention on this tiny cove were mountainous breaking on the beach with great force and providing me with great entertainment not to mention wet feet.

A long exhale as I gaze upon this scene. The dramatic sky, the torrential ocean tide..this is beautiful.
