Stumbling down to Hopeman's beach has become a most enjoyable summer pastime especially when it appears a good sunset is likely. At the far end of the beach is this wonderful set of cleaved rocks mixed with soft and eroded sandstone gullies. The fingers of sandstone obligingly align themselves with the setting sun and if the tides are right then the fissures between them fill with water and reflect the sky above. Everything came together beautifully on this occasion.
