Scotts View is one of the most iconic views around the historic town of Melrose. The Tweed one of the finest salmon fishing rivers in Scotland loops around its meandering course at this point and provides fine views to the Eildon Hills. I arrived at this location overlooking the Tweed at sunrise and waited for a light mist to clear and golden sunlight to pepper the hills. I was lucky enough to be on a comission shoot for a walking magazine at the time.
