Salad Loch

Loch Achtriochtan, Glencoe, Scotland.

New Spring growth in the form of reeds, still fresh and yellow as a prepared salad have sprung clear of the shallow waters of little Loch Achtriochtan at the foot of Glencoe. Behind it, the enormous slab of rock with its patterned slopes of vegetation, plummets directly into the clear water and reflects in the mirror smooth surface. By the way turn the image on its side and a chameleon stares back at you...disconcerting!!
