On a very special autumnal evening I made my way out to Castle Stalker with a small band of like minded photographers. The golden gown of an ethereal hazy west coast sunset was descending and the water had stilled to provide a broken reflection of the castle in swirls of reflected blue and gold. I left the little golden nub of land to intrude into the picture to provide a welcome splash of bold colour which I think enlivens this soft image, subtlely.
