Cajon and Tehachapi Pass Trains 1981 - Present

All Aboard!!!

Thank you for stopping by to view a collection of my favorite railroad images taken over the years since 1981 to the present.

My first railroad passion was for the AT&SF having grown up in the Pasadena area in the 1950s, so you will see a considerable number of Santa Fe images in many different liveries. Also, BNSF, Southern Pacific and Union Pacific images are included. Like many Southern California railfans, most of the images were taken in Cajon Pass and Tehachapi Pass. Amtrak images are included as are the images from the various steam excursions that have been run over the years.

Thank you for taking the time to view my collection of images. I've loved trains as long as I can remember!

How glad I am to find some new pictures from my favorite scarlet/gray Southern Pacific. Visited most of the places a couple of times. So they bring me nice memories. Great pictures, well done!

My dad worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 30 years. I really get a lot of memories flying when I see Trains or Train Pictures. All the photos are great. Thanks for posting them for all of us to see.

Sigh. Yes, lots of changes over those years. Even now, more changes to Cajon with the triple tracking underway.

Great pics! My dad was a photographer and dedicated railfan. We spent a lot of time on the side of the tracks, waiting for trains. Seems like we spent hours waiting for the train and then had to shoot off as many pics as possible before it was gone.
