An almost 90 year old 4-storey tenement building (唐樓, Tong Lau), with no elevators and even flushing water system. Might not appeal to many, but every time I pass by, I'll be entirely fascinated, not only by its colours, textures and architectural details, but more by its 'human' factor that was so rich. Containing memories of more than three generations, it's still serving the same purposes and functions since it was first built - housing families and chambers of local community. I was amazed to witness its being "alive", living far far beyond the normal economical and physical life of a building in this fast changing City...
