The very pink...
17 January 2006 (123)

Fovant, Salisbury, UK

The sky -- and everything around -- turned a wonderful colour, this evening, as the sun set.
So I grabbed my camera, and ran upstairs, to try and get a handful of shots off before it faded...!

This is the view out of the spare bedroom window, through the trees to the north-west.
(And I promise you, that colour hasn't been touched at all...!)

Nikon Coolpix 8700

*gasps*
_beautiful_.
the soft curves and the subtle difference in blurring between the two, the darkening edges... an excellent pair! --mrg

A great and very minimalistic way to capture the evening sky. Respect!

You are really getting into these series shots. Nice work with the back light.
BTW:
Northstar isn't that song about having a wank?

And you expect us to believe that! Delicate elegance.

You captured it very well Stephen - I saw some of it too as I was coming out of work but my road home was going down too low to get any pics of it :-(
