No christmas atmosphere on Curacao.Instead,between the Salsa and Reggae music sometimes a Christmas song on the radio.
No snow,only cocaine enough to powder the whole islands nose ;-)
Anyway,we roasted two turkeys,put on some christmas music,and tonight we will celebrate christmas with about 300 people from Maria Isabels Church.Problem is that I have to put on a suit and shoes,because I have been living in shorts and slippers for the past 5 months.
Hope my shoes still fit ;-)...have to find some socks too,...and a tie ;-)
Hey fellow pbasers,enjoy christmas.Enjoy the turkey,wine and all other good things,because many have lost their jobs and homes this year.Think about them,and if someone asks you for money in the street,don't ask why or what they will use it for,but give generously.
Keep this attitude throughout 2009 and you will be blessed with more than you deserve .
