Washington Square in Greenwich Village is the center of NYU. But NYU's facilities extend well beyond this area. The medical, nursing and dental schools are centered along First Avenue from 24th to 35th Streets. The school of public administration recently relocated to the Puck Building in SOHO. The business school has significant operations in the downtown financial area. The school of continuing education has significant additional facilities in midtown. The arts facilities extend to Lincoln Center and to the Duke mansion near the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the upper eastside.
