Amsterdam Oud-Zuid

When I was taking pictures of this bridge two men approached who told me this bridge was in the open position
for about a year already because of a row between the city council and the contractor about who should pay for
damages that occurred when the bridge was operating for a short while.
They also told me that the picture of the tree was the second. The first one was cleaned off for €10.000.
So that's why we have to pay that much tax to the council.
