There are several bungalows belonging to the Tourism dep, PWD and others. However, it is near impossible to obtain accommodation at this place (or any other tourist lodges). When you ask the employees, you are told to go and make a booking in Rawalakot! The employees are not really interested in helping out the tourists because it means they have to do some work (why should they, they get paid anyway). This means travelling for 40-50 mins to Rawalakot and making a booking if their office is open. Of course, if you are clever and know the local custom, you can do a private under-hand deal with the employees. For ordinary tourists, like myself, it is impossible to obtain accommodation here. Majority of tourists who come here, stay for an hour or two and then leave. In effect, these bungalows at Banjosa and other places are just expensive lodgings for travelling civil servants who know how to manipulate the employees. Vast majority of real tourists are denied access to these lodges.
