An abandoned railroad bridge became through the vision of one couple a river-wide boulevard of horticultural beauty. This was some thirty years ago, and since then the Bridge has become a well-known tourist destination. The bridge and the surrounding shops of Shelbourne Falls have taken on an almost European feel over the years.
