I just spotted this bird perched on high over a deep canyon thick with vegetation. He swooped off of his tree and looked magnificent.

Spotted one soaring between trees in Hosp Grove today in North Carlsbad. Common birds for swampy forests. Stunning & large wingspan for body size.
