Joop in Norway #02
Lattitude 57.58`53", I`m showing you the southernmost point in Norway today:
this is Lindesnes (`arching land peninsula`). The Skagerrak meets the North Sea here.
It was a windy day, my ears blew up. Lost my leash too..!
I marked the lighthouse behind me on the cape, Lindesnes Fyr. It was erected in 1915
on the same site where in 1655 one of the very first lighthouses in Europe was built.
In those days the Vikings used candlelight and burning coal to warn ships off the rocks.
But the best thing here was the Norwegian waffle I found in the bushes.
It had its blueberry topping still on it! Some human must have thrown it away. I wonder...
