This is a test.
Humans, please take a good look at the blacks and whites of my fur.
I`m keeping my nose and my ears and my eyes out of the frame,
so you won`t be distracted.
How do my blacks and whites grab you? Do they bring on a special feeling?
I`m asking you this because my human read a theory by Dutch writer-biologist Midas Dekkers.
He claims black and white animals -especially the ones with spots-
attract humans more than other animals do.
Black and white animals look especially cute and domesticated in the human eye,
Midas says, they melt human hearts. He believes that is why Dalmatians are so popular.
And the psychological effect goes beyond pets.
Wild black and white species, like Penguins and Panda bears, also seem extra cute and lovable
to humans, although they can in fact be very unpleasant company for your average human.
So is it true: do humans prefer black and whites?
Hey, this a tough one for me. I really like many yellow and red and grey and blonde dogs too.
Some of my best friends are brown!
But us dogs are colour blind of course....
