Very Nice DC Gallery. The low light shot of the tourist at the Lincoln Memorial is a nice perspective.

Nice photos. I'm debating about getting either the Canon 28-135 or the 17-85 as my only lens (for the 350D that I'm purchasing also). Lenses are expensive so I want to make sure that my one lens will cover a wide range. It is cheaper to buy the 350D as a kit with the 18-55 and then purchase the 28-135 separately than it would be to just get the body and the 17-85. I do like the extra range of the 28-135.... Is the 28 wide enough or could you have used wider? I'm coming from a P&S Minolta G400 that is a 34-102 35mm-equivalent so I have no real concept of the 28.

Thanks! I enjoyed looking at the bike racing. It reminded me of the International Cycling Classic race (Super Week) that we had in my city.
