Sahraa the Hotel Dog

We are staying at The George Hotel, which welcomes dogs, and the place has been full of them over the holiday weekend. Turns out it’s also full of dog lovers, as we found out while waiting downstairs for our room to be cleaned. The first 12 images were taken over the course of around 50 minutes of Sahraa meeting other guests, both human and canine, and looking for some attention from us as well. The other pictures were shot during our delightful, month-long stay at the hotel.

I haven’t really done much in processing these pictures as they don’t seem to take well to cropping or other treatment.

Great series Helen. Was she looking for petting or maybe food. I know Fairmont Hotels have 'official' dogs in several locations

Great fun. Maybe she could get a job as their official canine welcomer. We've taken Fudge to dog friendly apartments but haven't ventured to a hotel yet.

A dog's life from her perspective. She makes friends wherever she goes. It seems DC is a dog friendly town. Our daughter takes the little one to a dog park, so she can pet animals too. Some family members are allergic to pet dander.
