This is a screen shot from a video of a man being detained on Tuesday by law enforcement from various agencies, two blocks from home. Officers were seen detaining people around the neighborhood, often stopping work trucks and questioning the occupants. All the people who were observed being stopped were minority members.

Today, law enforcement was nowhere to be seen in our immediate vicinity; maybe they got bored with our quiet neighborhood and found someplace more exciting to patrol, although a Humvee crashed into an SUV near Eastern Market at 6 a.m., trapping the occupant and damaging the car.
