Forlorn Queenie

Mary, the treat lady, has been away since Friday. Queenie always sees her on the weekend in the park with Tim, while Andrew and Queenie meet up with Mary for a walk every morning. Mary has taken a real liking to Queenie and goes out of her way to see her, texting with Andrew to arrange a meeting time. She even walked over to our house a while back to bring her some treats, before Andrew started walking Queenie. Luckily, Mary will be back home on Wednesday.

Greetings from the king and queen of Jordan, posted earlier:

Forlorn indeed - the treat lady will have some explaining to do upon her return but I'm sure Queenie will be overjoyed to see her.

I agree with Zoltan, Queenie does look sad or forlorn as you mentioned in the title . Hug her for me because I know from experience hugging a dog does make the day feel better. The love of a dog is one of life's greatest rewards.

So hard when you can't explain things to your unhappy pet.

Such a look of longing! Animals do get attached to people, especially when there's treats involved!

Queenie looks forlorn, wondering where her pal is! I see your snow is gone too! Lovely shot. V
