The Carnegie Library of Washington, D.C., previously called the Central Public Library and now known as the Apple Carnegie Library, was donated to the public by Andrew Carnegie and dedicated in 1903. In September 2016 Apple Inc. proposed renovating the library into D.C.'s second Apple Store location. The Apple Store opened on May 11, 2019.

We had to pick up an order at the store so brought Queenie with us because for some reason she just loves Apple Stores.
