Driving around New South Wales

My note with the photo says: “This was the good part of the road.” I can’t remember exactly where this was taken, but it surely wasn’t the only time we encountered challenging road conditions while driving around Australia.

Still trying to watch the football game, posted earlier:

Definitely off the beaten track, looks too small and shallow for crocodiles.

You'd better have a high-clearance vehicle for those kind of roads, 4 wheel drive and low low gears!
Dennis Hoyne30-Sep-2023 03:01
It's good you had a dependable car. Cool shot.

Nice rough country road.

It seems like a treacherous path but worth it to see the lush forest. V

My kind of road.

My kind of roasted. Terrific capture.

I agree with Laine, somewhere in the coastal ranges well north of Sydney. Good you had an adventure and explored away from the main roads. It is still possible ... though the possibilities are ever diminishing.

From the look of it central to northern coastline maybe where pockets of ancient rainforests do still exist. Certainly pre off-road vehicles.

It's quite a ride! Great capture! V
