‘Abort this court’

No protestors in view this time (they were to the right of me), but just a view of the fortification of the Supreme Court to protect it from the American people, and the feelings of some of those people about it.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

Lonely water lily, posted earlier:

Great journalistic work to tell the story off America today.

I agree with those signs. It’s scary to think marriage equality and contraception could be next. The only bright side is hopefully it will get more people voting. I’d take the snow and taxes any day in NY over living in a red state. Thanks for documenting this. V

Such a joke this court is. The ridiculousness of McConnell in denying Obama his appointments while allowing the previous sorry excuse for a president to stack the court with his cronies is maddening.

Such a sad state of affairs we find ourselves in. A beautiful day in our nation's capital and this is what things look like. I can remember walking up those steps and taking photos of those statues. What a horrible job these right wing justices are doing.

A sad comment on the lasting effects of the previous administration!

A clear crisp view of the Supreme Court in this fine documentary image....V

How sad - all around - that our country has come to this. The events of the past few years almost defy imagination.

Since they don't teach civics in high school many folks don't know how the government works. But it is sad to see these fences around our public buildings.

I agree with placards, Hellen.

Excellent capture of this terrible state of affairs.

Instead of being revered it's sunk to this.
globalgadabout07-Jul-2022 16:44
this sums up well the limits imposed on freedoms by the right wing dinosaurs in majority...what a big problem when regressive forces attain too much power..

Such an amazing situation ! Who could imagine it ?
