New home for a cherry blossom

This sculpture was featured in last year’s “Art in Bloom” exhibit during which cherry blossom sculptures by local artists were displayed all over DC http://pbase.com/helenpb/helenpbroot_cherry_blossoms At the end of Washington’s annual cherry blossom festival, a couple of the sculptures were put up at auction, and this one was purchased by somebody on Capitol Hill. This particular work of art was titled "Cherry Tattoo," by Andrew Funk, and was situated at the City Center DC Plaza.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

It's a beauty, and someone should be sitting in that chair for your photo.
