Pennsylvania Avenue, which runs past the White House to the US Capitol and beyond, was lined with Ukrainian flags along with the US and District flags. We drove up one side of it and down the other, trying to find the perfect flag, difficult in traffic with very little breeze and a very dirty windshield. I managed to get this one in front of the National Archives building.

unsharp.
