Larger-than-life Albert Einstein

The Albert Einstein Memorial is a monumental bronze statue in the garden of the National Academy of Sciences by sculptor Robert Berks depicting Albert Einstein seated with manuscript papers in hand. Engraved as though written on the papers held in the statue's left hand are three equations, summarizing three of Einstein's most important scientific advances: the theory of general relativity, the photoelectric effect and the equivalence of energy and matter.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly
unsharp.

What a cool statue - I love how its surface mimics the leaves. I bet Einstein would have loved it. V

We have seen this statued mobbed with youngsters, in the past. Time to get him into a homeless shelter or at least get him a scarf and some ear muffs. V

a fresh side of Albert, relatively speaking...he appears sympathetic, relaxing like anyone else would,, an almost regular guy, although with a lot on his mind.. a fine cpature leaving appropriate space up front..

He is very deserving of a statue of him just a brilliant man if he were alive today he probably would figure out how to handle Covid 19 in no time at all.
Nice sharp image .

Wow, that's an amazing statue. You're really making me want to visit Washington again - when the normal times return, of course.
