Created by Alberto “Sabek” Clarencio of Madrid for the DC Murals project in 2017, this mural is intended to send the message that we may fall on the opposite ends of the spectrum, but beneath the stereotypes and prejudices of our outer layers, we are all still humans.
We came across this quite by chance when we were trying to get into the back entrance of Ben’s Chili Bowl for its famous Black Americans mural. This one dominated the parking lot of the building next door.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly
unsharp.
